So, somehow, it's almost been a whole year since my last update journal. I know I don't have to explain why I've been absent, and I'm sure people are probably tired of hearing it and just want me to get something out, so I'll keep it to the point. I've been focusing on self improvement much of the time I've been inactive here, both in terms of art "talent" and personal development. I don't know what I said before about being away, but this is the primary reason, I wanted to better myself. I was going through some rough times there and needed to step away and take care of it. I won't say all of the "things are taken care of", but alot of them have been dealt with, and I feel better as a person for them. So recently I decided to go into working on projects again, like actually. My plan was to get the first chapter of my rebooted version of the "Neo Genesis" comic online by the beginning of next month, however setbacks have happened, mostly because a particular sprite is taking a while to get right, and I don't want to rush the comic like I did the original. My current plans are to work on the Neo Genesis reboot comic and the Super Godzilla Returns fan game simultaneously, being the only projects I'm going to focus on for now. Hopefully I've gotten out of this couple year long funk I've been in enough to do so. But those are my priorities, whenever they happen, they happen. I'm just one guy doing most of the work for any of my projects, on top of balancing real life.

Hey guys, BGL here again with a new journal on what I have planned for my DA account. It's been a couple months since my last Deviation, and some may be wondering if I am going to be quitting. The short answer is that I don't want to quit, and as of right now I am not. The ordeal I've been troubled with lately is mostly that I'm at work almost all day, then I come home and I'm either too tired or have a depressive episode making me not want to work on anything. So due to this I've thought it over and had to make a compromise with myself in order to manage my time properly and not get overwhelmed with too much DA work.

Simply put, I intend on only working on one project at a time. So I will be focusing all of my DA work "time" into Super Godzilla Returns Episode 2 until it is completed. That means my original plan to get the Neo Genesis Comic started in 2 weeks for it's 7th anniversary (and my 10th) is going to have to be put off. So to anyone still watching me after this "disappearance", I hope you understand where I'm coming from, and I hope you look forward to anything I have to offer in the future.

Super Godzilla Returns
Currently I am working on Episode 2. Episode 1 will get an update, and 6 new stages will be added with new content. Also I will be working on the Wiki pages for the game as well. Please note all previously posted details on the game may not (most likely won't) reflect the final version.

Godzilla Custom Sprite Series
I have been wanting to do some new custom sprites for a while. I won't say who they are in case I don't end up doing them. Although there will be some new versions of existing sprites soon as they will be updated for Super Godzilla Returns.
